Is Standing Really the Answer?
In this series of curated posts we’re looking at a common theme surrounding the discussion about sitting vs. standing. Studies have proven that just about anything we do, like sitting, if it becomes repetitive will have a negative impact on our health. It’s known as repetitive stress injury (RSI).
Studies have also proven that sitting is detrimental to our health, and lately using a stand-up desk has gained popularity as an alternative to sitting all day long. Even standing has it’s cons though. You still need to be aware of your posture, wear supportive footwear, take advantage of accessories like an anti fatigue mat and use the proper desk for the task.
